The APS Basic series G2 is the basic series among the screw compressors and are extremely reliable machines with a low noise level. The APS 3 Basic Combi G2 is a screw compressor with 200 l pressure vessel with a more efficient screw block than its predecessor and is a compact model. Due to the more efficient screw block, this series of screw compressors has approximately 15% higher compressed air output. The screw compressor is easy to operate, because it has a start/stop system without a follow-up time, which means that all operating hours are pump hours. The big advantage of a screw compressor is that it can be loaded 100%. Due to the correct composition of the installation, the applicability is very large. If the low noise level is desirable, but there is little air consumption, a screw compressor can still be installed with a heating belt and the right pressure vessel, for example.

The 3 hp APS 3 Basic Combi G2 has a C43 screw block and has a working pressure between 5.5 and 10 bar. The new screw block C43 in the Basic series is the replacement for the C40 screw block. As reliable as the predecessor, but larger and the tolerances are smaller, so that there is 15% more air output with the same power and this ensures energy savings.

The screw block is V-belt driven, has a motor rating of IE3 and degree of protection IP55. The rotational speed of the screw block is 2950 RPM and this gives an effective capacity of 294 l/min. The ambient temperature should be between 1°C and 46°C for optimum performance. When installing the screw compressor, keep in mind that it needs power current to work.
